White House Let’s Move program lets schools snag salad bars – Nov. 23, 2011 Capital News Service

The video: Chesapeake Public Charter School in St. Mary’s County, Md. was one of four schools in Maryland that received grants for a salad bar at its school.


Dog wash for a good cause – Fall 2010 / class project
Fur-Get Me Not, a local pet care business founded by Tammy Rosen in Adams Morgan, NW D.C. hosted a small fund raiser to benefit the Washington Humane Society. Area residents were invited to bring their dogs for a discounted dog wash, and the money made during the fundraising hours went to the WHS.
