Infectious-Diseases Program Engages Students in Science

In an effort to get more students engaged in STEM subjects, researchers from Tufts University School of Medicine partnered with teachers from Boston Public Schools to create a science curriculum focused on infectious diseases. The Great Diseases Project, which was launched in 2009, was found to boost student engagement and interest.
