A new study found that student athletes who go to the emergency room for headache symptoms after sustaining a mild traumatic brain injury, and are admitted to the hospital are at a higher risk of developing postconcussion symptoms. Postconcussion symptoms can be a cluster of cognitive, psychological and emotional problems.
