Researchers at the Institute of Public and Preventative Health at Georgia Health Sciences University found that 20 minutes of daily aerobic exercise reduced the risk of obesity and obesity-related disease in children. Forty minutes per day is even better.

With a quarter of Americans ages 6 and older considered to be totally inactive, how can we inspire more youth sports participation that lasts into adulthood? Two organization collected data from children, teens, and adults through a 20-minute web-based survey.
