States Fail to Meet Disaster-Preparedness Standards

A new report by Save the Children raises concerns that many institutions in the United States entrusted to protect children are not fully prepared to do so. More than half the states, and the District of Columbia, do not meet at least one of the four disaster-preparedness standards, according to the report.
