Kaboom! A new playground for Laurel Elementary School will be built

A 15-year-old playground behind Laurel Elementary School, Maryland, got a facelift thanks to a $50,000 grant by KaBoom!, a national non-profit organization focused on building communities through playgrounds. The old, wood-splintered structure built in 1994 was replaced with a more modern structure made of plastic, metal, and some wood.
