Members of the Prince George’s Genealogical Society spoke to about the basics on how to do genealogical research, starting with basic information that you already know like names, birth date, death date of immediate family members. Gathering family photos also helps with understanding your family history. Once the initial research is done, individuals can continue their search at public libraries and the internet.
