National Bike to School Day Aims to Promote Health, Safer Routes

May 8 is National Bike to School Day and over 1,200 schools are signed up to participate. The event is part of the National Center for Safe Routes to School and aimed at encouraging more youth (and communities) to engage in walking and biking to school as a healthier alternative to riding in a car.
